What Does a Freelance Copywriter Do?

By Tom F Albrighton

A freelance copywriter is anyone who produces content or text on demand. The 'freelance' indicates that they operate as a free agent, usually carrying out clearly bounded copywriting projects or commissions on an ad hoc basis and for a range of clients. 'Copywriter' is a loosely defined term, since copywriting often includes a range of tasks that may be much more precisely defined in other industries (such as publishing): writing, rewriting, structuring, planning, editing, copy-editing, proofreading and liaison with a range of other professionals such as graphic designers and web developers.

When they work with businesses, copywriters provide support to the marketing function by writing marketing materials such as brochures, advertisements and websites. Typically, the freelance copywriter will deal with the marketing manager or marketing director, although in a smaller firm the MD or CEO may approach the freelance copywriter direct.

Freelance copywriters also work with agencies, where they support the creative work of the agency by adding a copywriting function to their service portfolio. While many agencies offer writing services, they may choose to use a freelance to do the actual work - either because they lack the capacity for copywriting in-house, or because they need the skills of a specialised copywriter.

Freelance copywriters also work with other types of client - public sector organisations, charities, academics - anyone who needs something written might be interested in the services of a copywriter.

Many freelance copywriters list their services in traditional directories, just like any other business. However, for the vast majority, the key way of linking up with new clients is through the internet. Most copywriters now have their own web presences, often optimised for search engines so that they can attract web users who enter terms such as 'copywriter' or 'freelance copywriter'. To reduce competition, they may also seek to rank for terms such as 'copywriter Norwich' or 'copywriter London'. To build up the profile of their site, copywriters may seek coverage in online copywriting directories, such as these examples at Yahoo and FreeIndex.

Once contact has been made, the freelance copywriter meets with the client to determine what kind of copywriting is required. This means considering such important aspects as purpose, tone of voice, target format and (most importantly) the situation of the reader and the response that the copywriter is aiming to elicit from them. Good copywriters will carefully gather all this information before beginning their copywriting.

Before beginning work, the freelance copywriter will seek to agree a price with their client. Most copywriters charge by the day, although some may agree to charge by the hour, or (for some types of commission) by the word or thousand words. Charging by the word carries the risk that many revisions will be required in order to get the copy right, leaving the copywriter undercharging. However, for some tasks (such as the creation of large amounts of search-engine friendly copy), the per-word basis may be appropriate.

A realistic estimate of time requirements is essential, and the client needs to appreciate how much work can go into a freelance copywriting commission. For example, the creation of a three-word slogan might involve several days of liaising with company executives, reviewing competitors' content, brainstorming and evaluation.

Copywriting Agency Versus Freelance Writer

By Gavin Edley

If you're contemplating hiring a copywriter to work with you on your promotional and marketing material, you may be facing the dilemma of whether to use a freelance writer, or a copywriting agency.

Now, before we begin, I must confess something.

I'm the director of a small copywriting agency - so, as you might expect, I have a predisposition to favour copywriting agencies over freelance copywriters - but, I'm going to try my best to offer an un-biased rundown on the merits and disadvantages of each option.

The copywriting agency

Copywriting agencies are essentially a group of copywriters, headed by account managers.

The copywriters do the research, concept development, and the writing, while the account managers keep the clients happy, communicate the clients' needs to the copywriters, and enforce quality-assurance.

From this description alone it is easy to imagine some of the benefits and disadvantages of using an agency, but let's explore these a little further.

Advantages

- Industry specialists: With an extensive bank of copywriters to hand, copywriting agencies can often locate a writer with specific industry experience and expertise, allowing you to work with someone who is familiar with your particular field of work.

- Availability: When it comes to workload, freelance writers are, obviously, limited by their schedule, and given that they work alone, it doesn't take much work for their schedule to become full. Copywriting agencies, on the other hand, generally have a much greater capacity in terms of workload and availability. So if you've got a rush job on, agencies are more likely to be available to deliver.

- Quality assurance: I want to avoid the issue of 'quality' in this article. Quality is not determined by the fact that the writer is freelance or part of an agency. Quality is determined by the response rate that the writer can deliver for your campaign, and quality varies amongst freelancers and agencies alike.

BUT, a point I would like to get across is that in most agencies, the account managers proofread each document before it is sent off to the client. This helps to eliminate mistakes and maintain clarity and objectivity in the text.

Disadvantages

- Price: Typically, copywriting agencies charge higher prices. This is simply down to maintaining a higher cost-base than freelancers. Freelance writers work from home; the only costs directly related to their business are perhaps a laptop, a notepad, and a pen. Copywriting agencies, on the other hand, have an office, numerous computers, staff wages, and insurance costs directly related to their business. These are often reflected in the price they charge.

- Flexibility: Freelance writers don't work set hours, agency writers do. So if you have a project that needs completing at an obscure time or over the weekend, a freelance writer is probably more likely to be your port-of-call than a copywriting agency.

The freelance writer

I could stretch this article out and go over the advantages and disadvantages of using a freelancer as opposed to using an agency, but to be honest it would be quite pointless given that the advantages and disadvantages are simply the flip-side of the ones mentioned above.

Freelance writers don't have the same number of industry specialism's, the availability, or the same quality assurance procedures as copywriting agencies. But they do tend to beat the agencies on price and flexibility.

The verdict

Your decision to work with a freelance writer or a copywriting agency should be based on your particular requirements for the project. If it requires particular industry expertise (i.e. finance, medical etc.) and needs to be completed quickly, a copywriting agency might be more appropriate. If budget is a major factor, using a freelancer would probably be a more feasible option.

Copywriting For Your Sales Letters - Sell More Products by Improving Your Internet Copywriting Skill

By Connie Ragen Green

Writing web sales copy is probably the most intimidating part of internet marketing, but you must learn some basics about copywriting if you are going to be successful with an online business.

Some of the highest paid professional on the internet are copywriters, and you can learn how to write your own web sales copy by studying how they do it. It is all a formula, and once you see the pattern you will be able to get started writing sales letters that will help you to sell your products and build your list.

There are 21 elements that make up a sales letter, but some of them are much more important than others. The ones I will discuss here include the pre-headline, headline, teaser, testimonials, and features and benefits.

Pre-headlines speak directly to your targeted market. At the very top of your sales letter you will say who you are speaking to, like authors, parents, entrepreneurs, or small business owners. Be as specific as possible, so your message seems more personal.

The headline will account for about eighty percent of the success of your sales copy. Write as many headlines as you can, and test different ones to see which ones give you the best results. There are many resources online where you can find headlines that have been proven to work over the years.

Teasers will help you to ensure that your reader continues to read through the rest of your sales letter. This is where you tell your reader that you will be telling them about something else later on, but for now you want to tell them about another part of what your are offering. This is called the Zeigarnik effect, and is based on a psychological principle that has shown that the human mind must have completion of any uncompleted tasks. When you tell your reader during your sales copy that you will be giving them the rest of the information further down the page, they simply must keep reading.

If you are new to writing sales copy and doing business on the internet, you may not have testimonials that are readily available. You can always give your product to some people and ask them to give you an honest testimonial, or use quotes from famous people, living or dead, to make a relevant point about your product. Either way, these testimonials will help you to sell more products.

Features and benefits are extremely important when you are writing sales copy. A feature is what something is; a benefit is what something does. For example, a feature of a vacuum cleaner is the size of the motor. A benefit would be that it is able to pick up more dirt on a deeper level, because of the size of the motor. I like to list the features of what I am trying to sell online, and next to each one I give the benefit of that feature. That way I make sure to include these benefits in my sales letter, and the reader or prospect can see how my product or service will benefit them.

Freelance Copywriters - Top Ten Tips

By Tom F Albrighton

Once, I commissioned freelances. Then, in a Smeagol-to-Gollum style transformation, I got made redundant and had to scrape together a living in the hand-to-mouth, twilight scavenger world of the freelance copywriter. I could have been a contender. But more to the point, here are the top ten things I've learned in five years as a wandering content-ronin.

1. Believe in abundance. If you're short of work, it's easy to fall into anxiety. Instead of focusing on scarcity, switch your attention to the many opportunities around - online, in your local area, around the world. If local competitors spring up, that's great - it means there's work around! We get what we expect in life, so start expecting that opportunities - and cash money - will be coming your way.

2. Hold on tightly, let go lightly. In other words, focus on the copywriting jobs you get, not the ones you don't. It doesn't matter why your quote wasn't chosen, or why that client stopped using you. What matters is serving the clients you have today.

3. Accept blame. In fact, actively seek out blame. If things go wrong, claim responsibility, even if it's not your mistake. Failures of communication, missed deadlines - whatever. Blame rarely sticks to those outside an organisation, but your contact or client will be flattered at the implication that they've done nothing wrong.

4. Pricing is a game without rules. I don't mean 'rip off your clients'. I mean that people's expectations on price vary so wildly that it's almost impossible to find a consistent approach. Get used to pricing job by job. If the client proposes a price, be thankful you don't have to. Love clients who will negotiate instead of never contacting you again if your price doesn't stack up.

5. Networking takes time. With social media, anyone can rustle up a big network in weeks. Unfortunately, its power to deliver freelance copywriting work will be limited. What actually works is referrals from friend to friend, and they happen when your contacts' contacts realise they need a copywriter - which can take years. But as long as you keep meeting expectations, referrals will come.

6. Learn to listen. Forget impressing the client. Learn to listen, not speak. First and foremost, you'll do better work because you'll learn more. On a human level, people love the chance to chat with an impartial outsider - so give them it. It's a big part of the value you offer.

7. Cultivate detachment. I've found I can handle freelance copywriting much better if I'm not emotionally involved. I try not to get excited about new opportunities so I'm not disappointed when they don't pan out. I don't pat myself on the back for a good month, in case the next one is awful. Becoming a company is a good way to create distance between you and your work, and worthwhile for this reason alone.

8. Don't flatter yourself. Clients do not spend that much time thinking about you and your copywriting, so don't waste time and effort over-thinking about what they might want, or what a particular reaction (or lack of reaction) might mean. They have a job that needs doing, and you're a tool to get it done - end of story.

9. Under-promise and over-deliver. Tell the client the worst-case timescale, then beat it by four or five days. Maybe even reduce your price because you did the work quickly. Sounds like a cheap trick? Believe me, your customers will have dealt with too many flaky suppliers to feel that way. They will absolutely love it.

10. Be in the moment. Because the future is always uncertain for the freelance copywriter, some worry is always present. Try to let go of it and enjoy the work you've got today. Remember, no-one really has any security in today's working world, so let tomorrow take care of itself.

The 3 Major Freelance Writing Mistakes

With a degree in English/secondary education and over 3 years of professional freelancing experience, I have discovered the 3 major freelance writing mistakes that are commonly made. Of course, with a background in education, maybe these problems tend to 'jump out' at me. But, I believe it speaks to professionalism and ultimately success.

Among the 3 most glaring freelance writing errors I frequently run across are:

• Sloppiness
• Speed
• Lack of Professional Writing Skills

But, in discovering these common writing mistakes, my educational background means I will not simply slam professional writers like myself, without a solution.

Sloppiness

Personally speaking, for those people that expect to get paid for their writing, sloppiness is unforgiveable. But, to add insult to injury, buyers often accept this substandard work and post it on the Web, where it will live in infamy. However, I believe with the ever-increasing world-wide competition on the Internet, freelancers and other individuals that make a living via the computer should be on notice. Strive for a better product or service, because someone that is not sloppy will come along and take your customers.

For example, do not simply depend on spell check, before calling the article complete. It does not catch half of the errors that are made. Take the time to read through a finished article. If you are really tired, walk away. Go do something else for awhile. Leave it until after a good night of sleep. But, do not submit sloppy work. In the end, your reputation as a professional freelance writer will suffer, if you get sloppy.

Speed

Everybody in the business knows that it takes a lot of writing to make a full-time living as a freelancer. It takes a lot of articles per month to pay all of the bills. Even if you write for high-end clients that pay premium prices for work, speed is your friend. But, it can also be the enemy.

Personally, I prefer not to take the high pressure assignments that require unrealistically quick turnaround times. I end up suffering from lack of sleep, neglecting my family, and becoming a less than pleasant person to be around, in order to get the project done on time. In addition, when I am required to speed through an assignment, I tend to make more mistakes, which ultimately reflect on my capabilities as a writer.

Although not one of the fastest freelancers in the business of writing, many of my clients believe I am very good at what I do produce. Because I pay attention to detail and carefully consider everything I write (from scratch-not spun), I have a faithful few that provide a solid customer base. Speed if you must, but put the quality of your work ahead of the almighty dollar. You and your clients will both benefit in the end.

Lack of Professional Writing Skills

A personal pet peeve is the amount of freelancers out there that really lack the skills to be a truly professional writer. Unfortunately, the fallout inadvertently affects the freelance writers that make a living writing well, with good quality, informative writing.

For example, you may use a writing service in order to bid on projects and make connections with potential clients. However, because these resources have essentially lowered their standards, many of you are forced to accept projects that yield less than minimum wage, if you want to do the project professionally. Thus, buyers are offering projects for $1 a page. In order to do an excellent job, a page takes at least 30-60 minutes. How many people can afford to work for 2 dollars an hour?

People in foreign countries take these jobs. But, the buyer gets what he/she pays for in the completed project. In addition to English as a second language, these writers do not have the skills necessary to provide quality material. Sadly, it is not simply ESL writers.

With the economy in a tailspin, more and more people are turning to the Internet as a second income or a full-time alternative, after being laid off from a job. But, writing professionally requires more knowledge and experience than receiving excellent grades in high school English. It is not the same as writing short stories well or keeping a daily journal, or even blogging for fun on the Web.

In summary, 3 major freelance writing mistakes reflect badly on the writer and the buyer. When searching for a product or service, potential customers will often move on to another provider, if they see sloppy work that was obviously done in haste. If the business does not reflect the willingness to look professional and skillful in their presentation, what kind of substandard service will they provide to their clientele? In short, professionalism pays.

How to Work at Home As a Freelance Writer

by Martinez Betheliza

Working-at-home as a freelance writer certainly has its perks. Anyone who is interested in working at home, setting their own schedule, and being in complete charge of their lives would most likely love a career in freelance writing. Of all of the work-at-home careers on the net, freelance writing is one of the only career fields that allow you to set your own rates. The potential to make an outstanding yearly income is massive - you just have to put your mind to it and do it.

One of the things that any freelance writer can do in order to increase their earnings is setup their own website. On the website, you should state what your rates are as well as post some of your recent material. Make sure that you list your contact information so that potential clients can easily get in touch with you. Talk about the type of writing that you do such as articles, poetry, short stories, novels, e-Books, etc. If you can cover a wide variety of material, you will go a long way. Creating a website should help you to obtain a pretty good amount of ongoing work.

A lot of people tend to make the mistake of not creating a website, which tends to lead to a constant search for work. In the beginning, it is usually that way for everyone. It takes time to buildup your reputation as an accomplished freelance writer and to gain attention from high-paying clients. Like all other careers, the starting pay may not be what you expect. When starting off, freelance writing is about getting as much work as possible, and doing as much as you can to make a legitimate paycheck.

Some people are lucky and are able to make a lot of money right off the bat. The better you are at punctuation, grammar, formatting, and writing on various topics, the more chances you will have at snagging those high-paying writing gigs. People who have to look for ongoing work usually have the best luck at freelance-writing websites where they post writing jobs. Most of the time, they require writers to bid for the jobs, and whoever wins gets to write the requested material.

Like all work-at-home employment positions, it is very essential that you know how to properly manage your time, this means setting a schedule and staying organized. Freelance writers can get a great deal of work accomplished if they have a set schedule they can maintain. Establishing work hours is usually the best idea for someone in this career field. A personal home office is another plus. A writer's work area, schedule, and organizational skills can easily mean the difference between success and failure.

All in all, work at home as a freelance writer is a great career. It involves working at home, which is always a plus. Although you don't have a boss, you have to understand time management and have the determination to get your work done each day. Being driven toward success is what makes this career worth while.

How Do I Become Freelance Writer?

by Danny Thompson

Interesting Question, "How do I Become a Freelance Writer?" Truth be told, it's probably a question beyond the scope of a simple article like this. However, there are a few key principles you must understand if you really want to find success as a freelance writer, whether you want to publish articles, fiction or even a commercial copywriter.

How Do I Become a Freelance Writer? - Create a Portfolio
The best way to get writing jobs is to prove to people that you can write. Just 5 or 10 years ago, the best way to do this was to write a few pieces to publish for free in order to gather clips. But the Internet has changed that. Now you can write and publish your own samples online as a portfolio. Today, you can decide what sort of material you want to write and what subject matter you want to cover, write your own articles ad you do your foundational research, and use that as a body of samples to show editors or companies when you go to pitch your project.

How Do I Become a Freelance Writer? - Embrace Rejection
One of the toughest parts of becoming a freelance writer is learning to deal with rejection. You have an idea, you approach your prospect, make the pitch...and the result is often a "no," if they bother to acknowledge your effort at all.

This isn't meant to discourage you...it's simply a fact of the business that you'll have to accept. Your prospect is likely very busy, and will most likely be receiving pitches from other writers, among all of the other fires they have to put out on a day-to-day basis. As such, there are dozens of reasons your idea might get rejected...and none of them are personal

Rejection, though unpleasant, is not a passage of judgment against you or your ideas. Most likely, it's a simple matter of timing.

How Do I Become a Freelance Writer? - Get Paid
When you embrace rejection as a simple reality of your chosen profession, it actually makes getting paid easier. Knowing that your submission may or may not be rejected allows you to start working on the next item on your list, while you wait.

How and when you get paid depends on the kind of writing you're doing. If you are writing commercially, then it's standard practice to get half, if not more, of your project fee up front, with the remainder due upon completion of the project. If you're writing for publication, you'll likely get paid upon publication of your piece... perhaps even upon acceptance.

Either way, it is important to develop confidence in the fact that you deserve to get paid for your writing. Many freelance writers lack that confidence and get taken advantage of. Sure, anyone *can* write. But most people don't *like* to write. And few can do it really well. If you treat your writing like a commodity, you'd going to get paid commodity prices. If you treat it like the craft it is, then you'll get premium rates.

How Do I Become a Freelance Writer? - Build Up From Day 1
Decide right now that you *ARE* going to be a a freelance writer. Create some samples for your website and start promoting your services. Don't stop until you've been published or gotten your first corporate gig. When you do, promote that fact. Get some sort of testimonial from your client and ask if they'll refer you to others. Then keep plodding along in your quest.

That first "sale" will turn into two, then five, then fifteen. Eventually, you won't remember exactly how many times you've been paid to write...and you'll be too busy to care much about it. Just remember: if you're a freelancer, writing is a business not a hobby. Treat it as such, working every day to build upon the efforts and successes of the day before, and before long you'll laugh at the days when you wondered if you could make it.

Copy Writing - Word of Mouth Or Words of Trust?

The most effective form of advertising is word of mouth from one excited customer to another. It works rather like the excited water molecules transferring heat inside a microwave oven! Creating social buzz is a very smart way to promote something new to a market. Whole trends can be set off to explode through a large human population. Fortunes can be made through the resulting fashions and trends.

Most written ad copy, however, lacks this energy and requires a booster shot of adrenalin. Advertising on steroids then runs the risk of turning into pure hype. Using all manner of 'power words,' positive suggestion and commands, the marketer too often ends up over promising and simply presenting the reader with something that is 'unbelievable' or too good to be true. Then the copy writer tries to persuade the prospect with large numbers of testimonials to create the 'social proof' that normally flows with word of mouth.

Finally, there is a promise of complete satisfaction with the product, or 'money back' so that all buying risk is reversed and carried on the seller's shoulders. These 'iron clad' guarantees have been proven to vastly increase sales, so something has been psychologically triggered by these sales tactics.

Copy writers could chart an entirely different course. A psychological approach that respects the higher human emotional needs such as self esteem, pride, dignity and mastery has often been behind the classical, hugely successful sales letters. Writers like Robert Collier, Gary Bencivenga and Clayton Makepeace have been true masters of these higher appeals.

Here's a revolution in copy writing. It will be known as 'words of trust.' It derives from the need of marketers to form lasting relationships of trust with their customers. Look at it rather like a marriage where written and implied contracts and agreements to perform are in place. Who in advertising would be truly satisfied with a one night stand, when the potential exists for getting the business of a lifetime customer? The value of a trusting relationship is immense!

Examples of Words of Trust

You will need to read and experience some words of trust, because they are not commonly found in sales letters, marketing materials or promotional emails in this age of hype and direct selling. You need more exposure to this emotional climate in which your higher needs are respected. Here are some direct examples:

1. "It's always been a pleasure having you as a subscriber. I've been quite privileged to extend these two things to you. I hope you make a lot of money online and really get ahead. Thank you."

2. "I promise you something. I won't abuse this privilege."

3. "Money will bring you personal freedom and emotional joy. It is important to me that you can enjoy these things that I value highly."

4. "Just enter your name and email address here so that we may continue the conversation."

5. "Give me twenty dollars and I'll show you how to save two hundred and fifty thousand dollars."

Summary

Modern advertising has been too aggressive and short sighted. While focusing on the immediate, one time gain, it has lost sight of the lifetime value of a good customer. A new approach called Words of Trust has been suggested here that respects the higher emotional levels of human nature. It is time to test a more trusting form of business relationship.

Copywriting - The Internet Marketing Skill That Sneaks You to Success

Online business owners often ask, "What's the single most important thing I need to learn in order to be successful?"

If you talk to any Online Gurus, Famous Names, or Internet Millionaires, they'll freely reveal the answer. They will tell you that visitors make buying decisions based on the words on your website. They will share stories of how you will benefit when you create compelling headlines, beefy bullets and irresistible hooks.

What most people don't realize is that once you study copywriting, you have a new all-purpose business weapon. You will find ways to use your skills even when you aren't working on your website or brochure. I call copywriting the sneaky strategy because most of your audience won't realize you're using it.

Example 1: Once I belonged to an organization that offered a showcase for members to present themselves. The catch was, you had to send an application, describing what you'd talk about and why you should be one of the three featured speakers.

I'd never written a proposal like this one, but I figured I'd just use my mindset to promote value, even though I was less experienced than my competitors. It worked.

You can also use your copywriting skills and mindset if you're nominated for awards. You're selling yourself, right?

Example 2: When you're invited to be an interview guest, you will need to prepare a list of questions, a summary of your topic and a brief biography.

Sounds simple, doesn't it? In fact, each element calls for copywriting. Your questions need to be as compelling as headlines. Your bio needs to showcase your expertise - without a hint of boasting. Your interviewer needs to be sure you won't sound like a used car sales stereotype.

Example 3: When you create an information product (or propose a book to an offline publisher), your title and chapter headings need to reach your target market in the same way your home page copy invites visitors to stick around and maybe buy on their very first visit. Every chapter needs hooks - elements of text that grab the reader and won't let go.

Copywriting Skills You Need to Know

Most online entrepreneurs are aware that online sales success is ultimately reliant upon good copy writing skills. When you first start marketing on the internet the initial emphasis is on traffic generation but nothing gets sold until you learn to write effective sales copy.

This particular writing skill is not difficult to learn as long as you adhere to certain guidelines within the content of your copy.

Let's review a simple 5 step procedure on how to write good sales copy when marketing anything online.

Good Product Knowledge

You can not expect to promote anything to anybody without a thorough knowledge of it yourself. To do so would not only make your promotional efforts more difficult but this would also be unethical. Most all copywriting is done from a standpoint of first hand experience. It is from this experience that you draw both your knowledge of and commitment to the product itself.

Know Customer Profile

The next thing you need and must know is who your customer is. Who is it that is best suited for the product or service you are writing about? Are they male or female young or old? What is their income bracket or is that even important. Is your audience educated or is that not even a factor. Most importantly is why the product you are writing about would even be of interest to them.

Having this information will enable you to 'speak directly' to your audience when addressing them. They will be much more receptive if they can personally identify with what it is you are saying.

Know your customer their wants, needs, and reasons and then speak TO them NOT at them.

Speak Benefits Not Features

When referring to the product you will want to stress what the benefits will be to the reader if they make a purchase. What is in it for them or how do they improve their lives by acquiring this product. In so many words why would they even want the product in the first place?

Gain Reader Trust

With all the hype and hoopla people are exposed to on a daily basis it is no wonder that they are in general very skeptical. As a copywriter you have to be able to gain the trust of your readers and all without any personal contact with them. This can be very difficult so what you need to do is offer your customers a 'comfort' zone of sorts. This can be done by using product testimonials that are 'authenticated' with names, addresses and maybe even pictures.

Another more straight forward approach is to offer a 'trial-period' or 'money-back' guarantee.

Emphasize Urgency

Remind the reader that the sooner they act the quicker their need will be filled or problem will be solved. Be aware if they don't act at this point in time they likely may never even be on your site again.

Another way to create a sense of urgency is to throw in a 'bonus' for their quick response or perhaps inform them of your 'limited' supply. Either way you are 'prompting' your customer to make a decision, NOW!

Online entrepreneurs are aware that good copy writing is what gets products sold online. Traffic generation is important for anyone when they first start marketing on the internet but the need to learn to write effective sales copy is crucial. If this writing skill is not developed it will be very hard to close the sale on any visitors to your site. The 5 step procedure we reviewed above is a fundamental guide on how to write good copy that will allow you to increase your sales conversions and boost your online profits.
